Patti Garibay was a major backer of the Girl Scouts...until they changed, and removed the pledge to God, something that had been in the Girl Scout's charter from the beginning. It didn't take long until Patti knew she had to do something to give her own daughter an alternative...and the American Heritage Girls became reality.
